Kids Special Recipes: Try these delicious snacks at home for kids.


1) Cheesy Potato Manchurian
Ingredients: 2 potatoes (boiled), 100 grams mozzarella cheese (grated into small balls), cup cabbage, 1 green onion, 2 green chilies, 1 capsicum (all three finely chopped), 2 tbsp cornflour, Salt as per taste, oil for frying.

Method: Mix all the remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese balls and oil for frying. Spread a little mixture on the palm and close it by placing cheese balls in the middle. Fry the Manchurians in hot oil till golden brown.
2) Crispy Potato Lollipops
Ingredients: 2 potatoes (boiled), cup bread crumbs, 1 onion and some green coriander (both chopped), cup cheese (grated), - tsp ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, and red chili powder, 1-1 tsp lemon juice, oregano, and red chili flakes, salt to taste, oil for frying, a little bread powder (for wrapping), 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Method: Mix boiled potatoes, a little bread powder, cheese, onion, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, green coriander, and salt in a bowl. Keep in the fridge to set for 2 hours. Make medium-sized balls with greased hands. Mix bread powder, chili flakes, and oregano in a bowl and keep aside. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour and some water to make a thick batter. Dip the potato balls in this solution and wrap them in the remaining bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil till golden brown. If you want, you can also add corn and mixed vegetables to potato lollipops.

3) Protein poha
Ingredients: 1 cup soaked poha, cup boiled moong and finely chopped tomatoes, 1 onion finely chopped, 2 potatoes boiled and cut into small pieces, 1-1 tsp mustard seeds, cumin and finely chopped green chilies, Half tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp lemon juice, salt as per taste, 2 tbsp oil, some green coriander finely chopped.

Method: Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin, onions, and fry. Add tomato, turmeric powder, moong, potato, and green chili and fry. Mix poha and salt and cook on a medium flame for a while. Serve with green coriander and lemon juice on top.
